Kent residents targeted by Royal Life Insurance scam

A resident in Kent received a call from someone claiming to be from Royal Life Insurance.

What happens:

  • You receive a call from someone claiming to be from Royal Life Insurance.
  • They tell you that you are no longer covered on life insurance due to COVID-19.
  • You will be told the insurance company are increasing prices and you are asked for a payment.
What to do:
  • Royal Life Insurance have confirmed this is a scam.
  • Do not give any personal or bank information over the phone. 
  • Report scams to Citizens Advice on 0808 223 1133.
Please warn vulnerable family members, friends and neighbours.
